Knowing how a species feeds is half of it; the other half is being on the water when it feeds. Pick the closest city and take its bite windows with you as a calendar file.
Pick the water you fish
Each file carries the next two weeks of major and minor windows for that city, with an alarm 30 minutes before every major window. Apple Calendar, Google Calendar and Outlook all read the format.
What these windows do and do not cover
The windows come from sun and moon position for the city's coordinates, and they are the same for every species in that water. A per-species filter is a thing the app is planned to do, not something this file does today — see what is planned.
Solunar theory (John Alden Knight, 1926) is a prediction, not a measurement. What a particular lake or river does in a particular week — a hatch, a drawdown, a stocking run — is known to a local forum or a state agency page, and no calculated model replaces that.
